Bruce Pulman Park in Takanini is blokart at its most accessible: central location, an all weather surface that is great in all wind directions, and a comfortable environment for the whole family.

Bruce Pulman may be the best inland blokart location in New Zealand. A loop road links a series of carparks around this massive sports facility. The sealed carparks and roads provide an all weather surface, and the flat, unobstructed land means we can blokart in all wind directions. Bruce Pulman Park is the homebase of BlownAway and the Auckland Blokart Club.
A big thanks must be given to the Bruce Pulman Park Trust for allowing us blokarters to sail there. Without the use of these facilities, blokart
sailing in Auckland would be but a fraction of what it is today.
Take the southern motorway, get off at Takanini exit. Turn left and travel south along Great South Rd towards Papakura. Take a left at the first big roundabout that you come to. This is Walters road. Go over the railway lines and through one more roundabout, and you will find Bruce Pulman Park on your left. The trip takes 20 mins from the city.

Judderbars, rally track and "round the mountain".
WIND - Any wind direction suits this place. TIDE - There are no tides! Any time there is wind, this place is on!
If you are sailing your blokart at Bruce Pulman Park, please take care. This is a public park - respect its many users on the roads and fields. Our continued use is based on there being no issues with other park users. Be particularly aware of cars on the loop road. The presence of a blokart on a road is not a normal occurence, and many motorists are unsure about how to handle it. Stick to the standard road rules.
Local club: Auckland blokart Club (ABC). Every Sunday is a fun-day. Come along and take part in casual fun races.
